Zakia Wild is a Swiss-Moroccan DJ, dancer and facilitator whose sound moves between underground club culture, African and diasporic sounds, and ancestral rhythmic traditions.
Rooted in dance and shaped by travel, her selections flow through deep and soulful house, broken beat, disco, funk, jazz and experimental music, guided by influences ranging from Theo Parrish and Kerri Chandler to Fela Kuti and Alice Coltrane. Drawn to the transformative power of sound, Zakia approaches the dancefloor as a space for movement, connection and collective experience, bridging the underground and the ancestral through rhythm.
At the heart of her sets lies one constant: a deep commitment to rhythm, movement and the transformative power of the dancefloor.
